After Spark and Spark 2 which were sold officially on Snapdeal, Micromax is now releasing the third version of the line-up, the Micromax Canvas Spark 3. The device got listed on the company’s site briefly. Now this variant has bigger and better display, more RAM, higher resolution camera, double the inbuilt storage, a bigger battery, and more.

The smartphone will be running on Android 5.1.1 out of the box, which is a bit disappointing as Android 6.0 Marshmellow is around for quite a while and Android N (probably New York Cheesecake 6.1) has released a Preview version.

It features a 5.5-inch HD dispay (720×1280 pixels) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the rear a 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and for selfies, it offers a 5 megapixel front camera on the front. The device is powered by a quad-core processor (unspecified) clicked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 1GB DDR3 RAM. 

8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to 32 GB through a micro SD card. It has a huge 2900 mAh removable battery.  On the connectivity front, the handset features regular option such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity.

For music enthusiasts, it includes 1.5CC Box 2509 speakers in the box. It comes preloaded loaded apps like Hike, OLX, Skype and Gaana.

It is expected to be priced around Rs 6,000 while offering decent specs.
