As unbelievable as it may sound, features like 4GB RAM, 16MP cameras and 14 nm-based SoCs are no longer reserved for flagship phones!

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 which nearly has flagship like specifications but costs one-quarter.

Samsung decided to take a step further by blurring the line more by including 4GB RAM, 16MP cameras and 14 nm-based SoCs to their mid-ranged smartphone, the Galaxy C7. The Galaxy C7 (SM-7000) appears to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 graphics processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8-megapixel front and 16-megapixel rear camera as well as Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It’s likely that the Galaxy C7 will have a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 pixel resolution display.

This is, to be honest, a greater deal because Samsung is a brand which has high brand value (like Apple) and therefore cost more. And this mega-brand, in order to compete with the competition, is pushing it’s limits. Earlier we have noticed such attempts by Samsung, particularly with the metal-and-glass but non-flagship Galaxy A family.

Furthermore, there’s gonna be a cheaper Galaxy C5 features a 5.2/5.5-inch display. It should run a Snapdragon 617/615 SoC, have 4GB of RAM, arrive running Android 6.0.1 and feature a full-metal body. It is expected to come within the $200 to $285 range.
