Samsung, after testing two Galaxy Note 6 variants a couple of weeks earlier (one having a flat display and the other with a curved edge display) just a couple of weeks earlier [SOURCE], is now reported to be working on another variant.
The specifications revealed are quite impressive, including Snapdragon 820 Chip-set, 1080p display resolution (size remains 5.8-inch), and 4GB of RAM.
The funny thing is that the specifications do not at all match with the post-fix ‘Lite’. ‘Lite’ generally refers to mid-ranged smartphones, but in this case, the phone is absolutely having a flagship-like specifications.
What does this indicate? The mobile industry coming to a place where today’s flagship is tomorrow’s mid-ranger or is Samsung/someone just trying to create a hype?
Needless to say, currently everything is in the air as none of these specs have been officially confirmed. So take all this with a heavy dose of salt.
