Designed solely for the new generation Broadwell-E family,ASUS unveiled their latest ROG X99 motherboards at Computex 2016 along with other ROG lineups like from ROG Graphics cards to ROG branded gaming PCs aimed at gamers and PC enthusiasts.


ASUS introduced the Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard and the more budget optimized Asus ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboards,both of them are bundled with ASUS Aura RGB.

The ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10 motherboards are top notch quality products in ther ROG flagship aimed at Broadwell-E chips and will be available in the stores for $599.
The motherboard is powered by the 8+4 Pin power connectors and features 8 Phase Digi+ III VRMs and has DDR4 support which can make your memory work to speeds up to 3333 Mhz on OC.There are four PCI-e 3.0×16 and a single PCI-e X1 slot.To achieve more speeds it has M.2 support as well next to the 24-Pin ATX power connector.Other features include RGB lighting and for storage it includes 10 SATA III and a single U.2 port.Talking about the I/O it quite rich which includes 10GBps USB 3. ports,Dual Gigabit ethernet ports,built-in bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi.There are advanced CMOS/BIOS set buttons on the board and capable of delivering true 7.1 channel audio.

Now enters the Strix X99 Gaming Motherboard from the ROG lineups which is  a budget friendly option will arrive once for $339.It seems ASUS has worked great on it and looks superb.It has a orange black scheme with RGB lighting as well.Identical to the Rampage,it also has 8Phase Digi+ VRMs and DDR4 support to clock speeds upto 3333 Mhz on OC having four expansion slots same as the Rampage  and has the M.2 slots right  at the bottom of the PCH heatsink.An interesting feature to note that it has LEDs up for each and every  PCI-e slots.And storage option includes 10 SATA III,1SATA Express and 1 U.2 ports.For audio it has SupremeFX that provides seamless  7.1 surround sound with capable  hardware.Sports a Gigabit ethernet controller port and Wifi is the same as the Rampage.
