Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is heading soon to the Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yuphoria, and Yunique.

Rahul Sharma,Yu Televentures CEO,  announced a new initiative to make software for Yu’s four devices available to developers on an open source basis. Yu is hoping that developers will contribute to its entire stack of mobile software, from the Android ROM, to chipset vendor repositories, and Yu’s own customizations.

That all starts with beta Marshmallow builds for the Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yuphoria, and Yunique. The beta ROMs can be downloaded and flashed right now.

A stable build for regular users is coming within 30 days, according to Sharma’s post on the Yu forums.

Cyanogen, on the other hand, is Officially rolling out CM 13 for Yu devices as well!

This is a great news as many users bought Yureka because of Cyanogenmod. Now, they will be getting what they intended for.

You can download the ROM and flash the Nightly version right now, from the Official Cyanogen website.
