We all know that the GP-104 based GeForce GTX 1080 and the GeForce GTX 1070 are Nvidia’s most dominating most powerful next-gen video cards on this planet and got released sometime before, but what’s next?
GeForce GTX Titan X successor , maybe?
Last month we got to know many Pascal based GPUs are coming to the market based on GP 100,GP 102,GP 104,GP 106,GP 107 and GP 108.Each GPU has different SKUs and even more is coming from GP 104 like the GeForce GTX 1060 (Ti) and other mobility cards based on Pascal.
Anyways no doubts GTX 1080 is the most powerful graphics card based on GP 104 in single chip performance and delivers way 30% more performance than the Titan X but what enthusiasts care about at this moment is the successor of Titan X which will be coming based on GP 102 GPU.
Most probably the will use GDDR5X for the next Titan but no performance benefit on HBM2 as of now and will most likely increase the cost of 50% which is unnecessary for Nvidia. But with that 50% cost increment it will deliver the same amount of performance – 50% than GeForce GTX 1080 and that’s blazing fast and powerful.
The thing we need now to know is will it run 60FPS on 4K and on how much VRAM will it offer, 8GB , 16 GB, maybe?
