Optionally featuring a touchscreen pricing it around $269 , HP added an update to it’s Chromebook lineup – The Chromebook 11 G5.

Overview:
With a thinner design and narrow display bezel this 11.6-inch Chromebook 11 G5 weighs 2.51 lbs sporting an Intel Celeron N3060 dual-core processor which is said to be clocked around 1.6 Ghz having a turbo boost clock up to 2.48 Ghz consuming only about 6 Watts of power this new update of Chromebook would easily keep awake for 12.5 Hrs  or 11 Hrs with with touchscreen standby according to HP.
The Chromebook 11 G5 has a tough Corning Gorilla Glass NBT for extra durability and protection but has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with or without touch but it’s a good sign and attractive as well for guys who wanted a basic netbook with touch screen as well as can run Android apps on it simultaneously as planned later this year.

Pricing and availability:
Touchscreen models will cost $269 and non-touch starting from $189 going to be available via channel partners in July.Retailers will face this somewhat in October.
