Being the fastest processor among all Intel has just released their new Broadwell-E lineup adding more chips of ten,eight and six cores respectively but this is now serious competition for them cause of the new chip.
Some 55 more than the existing number this socket will be called LGA 2066 R4 for the new Extreme Edition chips and we can expect two SKUs, 140W X series with 10-cores and another with less cores eventually be called the K version.
Both the KabyLake and the Skylake-X will support the new socket as another Kaby Lake-X 4 will be present with a TDP of 95+W having to use the same LGA 2066 R4 slot.
Now coming the the specifications it has support for Octane storage technology and for the first time it will sport 24 PCIe 3.0 PCI express lanes and and this will be the only key point differentiating itself from other being the successor of Skylake 100 chipset as it is a 200 series chipset.
Also the KabyLake 200 series chipset supports 6SATA 3.0 ports ,upto 10 USB 3.0 ports for the I/O, DMI 3.0 ,upto three 4X ports for PCIe 3.0 drives.
