After quite a long time, the Paranoid Android team is back.

For starters, Paranoid Android is one of the most popular custom ROM projects of the last few years.

OnePlus, after it’s breakup with Cyanogen, had recruited Paranoid Android’s team members for the development of the Oxygen OS (their home-grown Android OS). Since then, the team weakened, and updates went down drastically.

With new team members and major releases, they are finally back.

 Paranoid Android 6.0 Features:

  • Floating Mode – View your applications without having to open the entire app. With this, you can do a lot of stuff quickly and multitasking becomes a charm.
  • OTS Controls – If you slide your finger down over where the clock usually sits, you’ll be able to draw down the Quick Settings in one swipe (Quick Pulldown, it is called in Cyanogen).
  • CyanogenMod’s theme support – Choose from a variety of available CM13 themes.
  • Immersive Mode – The Status Bar and Navigation Bar will change according to the layout colour  of the opened App and they will disappear and reappear where needed.
  • OnePlus and OPPO owners will get extra features such as gestures and more involved kernel settings.
