It is giving the reviewers some 3-4 days tenure for testing that card as we have seen it wasn’t the scenario before for GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 as reviewers got less time but it’s might also be true that NVIDIA has pushed the launch date just to compete with the recently launched RX 480.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Official Specifications
We can now see that from a report from VideoCardz that NVIDIA has done same with the GTX 1060 as AMD did with their Polaris production , providing two variants of the card, one being 3 GB and the other 6 GB memory of 192-bit interface where the affordable ones are not getting SLI support as not to affect sales of GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 hinting us about it’s potential the half the performance of GTX 1080 which is true in the sense that GTX 1060 has exactly half the number of CUDA core than GTX 1080  and exactly same boost clock and 60% memory bandwidth which indicates roughly 55% of performance to be seen.
And also to worthy to note ; as reported by out friends at VideoCardz that a Korean retailer announced a promotion for the 1000 cards series sale which include a free copy of Overwatch with the purchase of any of the Pascal cards.
